I want to bury a family member in the Pyland African American Cemetery. What should I do?2023-01-21T18:45:28+00:00

This is a very good question.

The very first thing you can do is verify the decedent’s membership status.  Verifying the decedent’s membership status will let both the funeral home and the PAACC know the fee amount that the family must pay in order to bury a family member in the cemetery.

To verify a decedent’s membership status, you can call contact the funeral home who will be handling the decedent’s services.  The funeral home will then know how to contact the PAACC to verify decedent’s membership status.
